One middle-aged man’s nascent and naive journey through board games and analog game design
What the world needs now is another blog.
Okay, but why?
A while ago, I decided that I wanted to design a board game. As I set myself to the task, as time went on, as I learned and realized new things about the craft, I found myself with the urge to document my progress, my process, my wins and my losses. And… here we are.
A Man Possessed is a repository for my ideas, a timeline of my progress, a catalog of resources, and a place for me to record my thoughts and musings about board game design and my place in it. I hope I can provide some sort of intellectual or emotional nourishment for others interested in board game design, new hand or old.
